Crisis in South Sudan

Students in the South Sudan Agricultural Academy that we remodeled after the war are now a vibrant institute with young people who are deeply interested in God's word. The president of the Conference, Dr. Clement Mawa, sent me a thank you note from these students thanking all our donors for helping them study God's word.

RESTORE A CHILD humanitarian work in South Sudan aims at addressing the most urgent needs of children in crisis, particularly in the areas of health, education and particularly lifesaving treatment for severe malnutrition. There is wide spread food insecurity. An estimated 5 million children are in need of support.

The UN WFP states that "the number of children facing acute malnutrition in South Sudan is likely to rise by nearly 30% by mid-2025".

Opi (left) and his brother are grateful for the goat we gave them. Now, they have a new source of good milk for food. This is one example of the 1,200 goats we distributed in several countries.

The Adventist school in the refugee school in South Sudan had no walls or desks. Poverty destroyed their dignity. We built a school with desks and a feeding program to grow healthy young people who learn to love God.
